2009-01-21 [DeeJay™]: well, due to the indecisive financial climate, and the various different ways governments are trying to 'tackle' it, i'd say it's putting companies off hiring new staff, to try and see it out with their current employees, if not reduce costs to make the possible financial meltdown (i.e. 'credit crunch') a little less.. crunchy. x]
that said, the only real problem with finding a job, is finding one that you'd like. anyone could very easily get a job, or so i believe :D

But a lot of the older more active staff just aren't around anymore because their work wasn't being noticed by regular members. Certainly a few were interested in what was going on, but a lot of them couldn't care less. There are a few staff members floating around talking about getting things going again on some of the pages, but I don't know if the EP Independent has enough interest in it to really get it going.
